| When is the best time to get a | American football Scholarship? |
The best time to go to the USA with a football scholarship is right after graduation from high school or up to two years after. Only athletes ages 18 - 24 can compete within the college leagues. Any older and you will be looking at competing in the NAIA. Coaches are increasingly committing to younger athletes as this gives them the opportunity to work with the athletes for a longer period of time. It is also possible to go to the USA for one, two, three or four years it depends if you wish to seek a bachelor degree from you time there. We would recommend going to America as early as possible because this will give you the best chance of gaining a sports scholarship and turning professional after college.
Athletic football scholarships for football can be achieved if you are at the right level. For good football athletes on the level of the Division I the chances to receive a full football scholarship are relatively high if you know whom to contact.
In order to gain the opportunities of your profile and thus receive higher scholarship offers, it is important that you try to participate more in national tournaments in the time prior to starting U.S college. This will show college coaches that you are able to compete at a high level.
If you are competing at national level then you have a great chance of receiving a 100% sports scholarship. Coaches will also look at an athlete's potential, it's a vital aspect, as coaches know from experience that even moderate athletic performance can be boosted immensely with their intensive training methods. A college recruitment coach will look at a sport CV or the athlete, photographs, video and our staff advice regarding the athletes ability.

Some football coaches are paid according to the successes or performances of their current team or past teams, football practice can seem tough to international because you may not be used to the hard workouts and training. This hard training often allows football athletes to reach previously unattained levels of fitness and performance while playing at college. Many college athletes go on to be professional after they leave university.
The football season always begins in winter (Fall Term/ August). If you are looking to join a football college team you need to be signed to the college team around a year before.
